Liquid static dissipative floor wax

Anti-static ESD safe floor coating that can temporarily make non-antistatic floors dissipative.
Excellent product for maintaining conductive floors in cleanrooms and data processing centres; it may also be used for maintaining ESD safe benchtop mats properties. Rs: < 10^11 Ω.
For obtaining an optimal coating, it is recommended to apply two layers of wax with a total use of 1 litre per 25 sqm. To avoid its consumption through time, the coating must be periodically renewed by applying a solution of wax and water (this treatment requires 1 litre of wax every 100 smq).
Ordinary cleaning must be carried out using a specific detergent.
Supplied in 5 kg can (approx. 5 litres).

Application and maintainance instructions:

FIRST TREATMENT

• Thoroughly wash the floor with a stripper (El.Mi product no.: 149378A)
• Rinse with clean water
• Once dry, apply 2 thin coats of wax (typical consumption: approx. 1 litre every 25 sqm)
• Polishing is not necessary
• PLEASE NOTE: At this stage, a “manual” application is recommended. Non-diluted wax is dense and it would be difficult to lay it down using a rotary floor machine.

ORDINARY MAINTENANCE

Cleaning:

• Sweep the floor with a wet broom, then wash it with a detergent (El.Mi product no.: 148759A) diluted in water at 1-5% ratio (99/95% water : 1/5% detergent).

Spray renewing treatment:

• Dilute the wax in water at 30% ratio (70% water: 30% wax) and spray it on the floor
• Polish, manually or by means of a rotary floor machine, depending on the surface area and the equipment you have.
• Typical consumption: 1 litre of product for approx. 100 sqm).
