Full kit for ESD wristband and footwear

EEBCSTAT – Single-range test station for ESD safe wrist-straps and footwear. Very easy to use.
It checks the grounding system worn by the operator, consisting of the right and left ESD safe footwear (to be tested separately) and the ESD safe wrist-strap with its connection cable.
Modular system, equipped with portable tester, wall mounting support panel and footwear plate. Each element is also available individually, as well as in kit version.
The tester is supplied with calibration certificate. It is recommended to recalibrate the instrument on an annual basis.

Please note: For testing the wrist-strap, it is possible either to connect it directly to the meter (as shown in the video), or to the reference point on the panel (as indicated on the panel itself).

Methods of use

Connect the tester and the footwear plate to the panel.
To test the wrist-strap system, the operator connects it to the tester (with a Ø 4 mm banana plug or a Ø 10 mm button, depending on the equipment in use).
To test the footwear, the operator stands on the plate with one foot at the time.
The test is performed by making finger contact and pressing the stainless steel button:

• A green light turns on for PASS (the resistance is in the test range, from 750 kilo-Ohm up to 35 mega-Ohm)
• A red light turns on for HIGH FAIL (the resistance is higher than 35 mega-Ohm) and an audible buzzer sounds
• A red light turns on for LOW FAIL (the resistance is lower than 750 kilo-Ohm) and an audible buzzer sounds.
